In BetterDocs, you can now find any documentation easily with AI-Powered Smart Modal Search<\/strong>. This will allow you to search and get the idea of the document in a faster way, and get into the AI chatbot<\/a><\/strong> directly for quick support. Follow the step-by-step guide on how to configure AI-powered smart modal search in BetterDocs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Configure BetterDocs Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To find the AI-powered search, you will have to go to your WordPress Dashboard and then navigate to BetterDocs \u2192 Settings \u2192 AI Chatbot<\/strong>. Then, simply switch to the \u2018AI-Powered Search\u2019<\/strong> scheda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dal \u2018AI-Powered Search\u2019<\/strong> tab, toggle the button \u2018Enable AI-Powered Search\u2019. <\/strong>This lets your visitors get instant AI-generated answers inside the Modal Search. 

Next, customize the search \u2018Modal Title\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Processing Text\u2019<\/strong>, and \u2018Continue Chat Button Text<\/strong>\u2019. Toggle the button if you want to show the \u201cPowered by BetterDocs\u201d<\/strong> in your documentation. Click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button to save the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2: Customize the AI-Powered Smart Modal Search Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can style the AI Modal Search as well. This styling is available for both the block editor and Elementor. Choose your preferred editor to do different styling to the modal search. Here is how you can do that. 

From the WordPress dashboard, go to the \u2018Appearance\u2019<\/strong> \u2192 \u2018Customize\u2019<\/strong>. Then navigate to the Templates,<\/strong> and then from there select \u2018BetterDocs\u2019. <\/strong>From there, select the page where you want to customize the search modal.<\/p>\n\n\n

After that, select the search bar. Now, from the sidebar 'Generale' <\/strong>tab, select \u2018Modal Layout\u2019<\/strong>. There are three different layout options that you can choose for your documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n

Quindi, dal \u2018Search Content\u2019<\/strong> option, you can enable or disable the \u2018Category Search\u2019, \u2018Search Button\u2019, and \u2018Popular Search\u2019 options.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 3: Style the AI Modal Search Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then go to the 'Stile'<\/strong> tab, and from there go to the \u2018AI Powered Smart Modal Search\u2019<\/strong>. Toggle the \u2018Enable AI Search Suggestions\u2019<\/strong> and you will find different styling options for choosing \u2018Background Color\u2019 and \u2018Hover Color\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, customize 'Titolo'<\/strong>, \u2018Query\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Response\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Continue Chat Button<\/strong>\u2019, \u2018Button Text\u2019<\/strong>, typography, and color options. With this, you can customize the search modal based on your brand preference.<\/p>\n\n\n
