BetterDocs For Shopify can help you to import documentation to your Shopify store with ease. You can import documentation using a CSV file and create your complete knowledge base. Follow the guideline below to import documentation to your store.
Note: You may download and use our Doc Sample File to prepare for your import. Also, ensure that the Docs that you are importing are not duplicates of your existing store Docs.
Step 1: Upload Your Documentation File #
From your BetterDocs For Shopify dashboard, go to the ‘Documenti’ tab. Now, click on the ‘Import’ button. Hit the ‘Add file’ button and then choose your CSV file before clicking on the ‘Upload and Continue’ pulsante.
Step 2: Map Your CSV File Columns Headers #
Now, to map your CSV file column headers with BetterDocs For Shopify, you can assign the doc ‘Title’, ‘Slug’, ‘Description’, ‘Status’, ‘Seo Meta Title’, e ‘Featured Image’ simply using the search option. To continue, you must map the title column headers of your CSV file.
Simply, search the doc title as shown and match it with your CSV file header. Similarly, search all the other headers. Make sure to add all these headers on the first row of your CSV file as added on our Doc Sample File.
After that, you can assign categories from the ‘Select Category Type’ section. You can assign category titles by choosing the ‘Only Category Title’ option. If you want to assign your category title, slug, and description you can assign them from the ‘Category Details’ option. Afterward, click on the ‘Save and Continue’ button.
From the ‘Tag’ option, map your tags from the CSV file and click on the ‘Save and Continue’ button. Afterward, click on the ‘Import DOCS’ to import documentation on your store.
Once you successfully upload your CSV file your all documentation will be imported into your store.
