Note: You may download and use our FAQ Sample File to prepare for your import. Also, ensure that the FAQs that you are importing are not duplicates of your existing store FAQs.
Step 1: Upload Your FAQ File #
From your BetterDocs For Shopify dashboard, go to the ‘FAQ’ tab. Now, click on the ‘Import’ button. Hit the ‘Add file’ button and then choose your CSV file before clicking on the ‘Upload and Continue’ pulsante.
Step 2: Map Your CSV File Columns Headers #
Now, to map your CSV file column headers with BetterDocs For Shopify, you can assign the FAQ ‘Question’, ‘Slug’, ‘Answer’, e ‘Status’ simply using the search option. To continue, you must map the title column headers of your CSV file.
Simply, search the FAQ title as shown and match it with your CSV file header. Similarly, search all the other headers. Make sure to add all these headers on the first row of your CSV file as added on our FAQ Sample File.
After that, you can assign FAQ groups from the ‘Select Group Type’ section. You can assign group titles by choosing the ‘Only Group Title’ option. If you want to assign your group title and status you can assign them from the ‘Group Details’ option. Afterward, click on the ‘Save and Continue’ button. Then, click on the ‘Import FAQs’ to import FAQs on your store.
Once you successfully upload your CSV file your all FAQs will be imported into your store.
