How to Set Up Knowledge Base And Generate Sample Docs & FAQs by AI in BetterDocs Quick Builder?

After installing BetterDocs on WordPress, you will be redirected directly to BetterDocs Quick Builder. BetterDocs allows you to configure your initial knowledge base settings quickly from this advanced BetterDocs Quick Builder. This is to make your BetterDocs setup process faster without doing anything in BetterDocs Settings manually first. But if you want to skip the BetterDocs Quick Builder setup process, you can do that as well.

First, after installing BetterDocs on your WordPress website, you will see the ‘Quick Launch’ screen. From here, you can configure your Knowledge Base. By clicking the ‘Proceed to Next Step’ button, you will allow the app to collect information.

You can also skip this part for configuring later. Then click on the ‘Next’ button for the next step.

Next, you can create the content for your knowledge base. Here, without any API key, you can generate sample documentation with the power of AI. Click on the ‘Generate Sample Docs’ button and then BetterDocs will read your site and generate a tailored starter knowledge base. 

After generating the knowledge base, you can click on the ‘Insert all docs’ button and it will automatically add all the docs based on the specific categories to your knowledge base. 

After clicking on the ‘Next’ button, you can customize the layout of your knowledge base in the ‘Style your Document’ section. Here, you can select the template for your doc page, category page, single doc page, and search bar. After choosing your preferred template, click on the ‘Next’ button to finalize your setup.

Finally, in the ‘Finalize’ tab, click on the ‘Finish Setup’ button to save & apply your preferred setup. Nothing will be saved until you click the button.

How to Generate Sample FAQ with AI #

You can also generate a sample FAQ based with AI. From the sidebar, go to ‘FAQ Builder’.

After clicking on ‘FAQ Builder’, select the ‘Generate Sample FAQs’ button. This will prompt BetterDocs AI to create FAQs based on the content of your site, providing tailored questions and answers that cater to your audience’s needs.
